On Jan. 21, the board of directors for Charlotte Russe Holding Inc. announced that it was considering selling its company. Board Chairman Jennifer Salopek said Charlotte Russe had “received interest from unnamed buyers” but, there is no schedule for a possible sale.I don’t shop at Charlotte Russe, unless I need a quick top or summertime skirt, but I’d hate to see another company go under. I suppose it’s just another sign of the times.
